Yes, born and raised. It started as a family default, and as I grew older I simply chose to stick with it. No dramatic backstory or documentary epiphanies, just how it has always been.
Pure veg: no eggs and no exceptions. Which also means at birthdays or gatherings, I am inevitably the person double-checking with the host whether the cake is actually eggless before taking a slice.
Lentils, paneer, chickpeas, tofu, dairy, and a lot of dal bhat. It's funny how everyone turns into a nutritionist the moment they find out you're veg, but routine health checkups have always been completely fine.
Not at all. Eat whatever you enjoy. As long as we're having a good conversation and no one is trying to slip a piece onto my plate as a joke, I genuinely don't mind.
Veg momo, paneer chilli, or mushroom choila. The script is always the same: friends claim veg momo is basically grass, only to steal half my paneer chilli and veg momos five minutes later anyway.
Not really, never had the curiosity. When you've lived over twenty years without something, you don't miss it. I enjoy what I eat, so there's never been any urge to experiment.
